Not Too Late

written by Amee Chapman & Nichole Robbins

We’re falling asleep to the scent of the sea

Talking drunk, sand in our sheets

Cuddled beneath the stress and the scene

This is the way we should always feel.

Not too late, to sway me

Not too late, so stay with me

Morning there’s fog and a heavy tone

Last night’s whiskey has long wore down

Leaning over the cliff trying to keep ourselves warm

The cold is inevitable  in our stubborn storm

We surfed all day without a word

Played house with our kid and skipped around like fools

Almost dark now the lovely bottle returns off the fires reflection

Your beautiful and full
